Annual Wellness Exam 

 Just like us, every pet should have a physical exam once a year. This is the best way to ensure you are leading the healthiest life for them and ask about any health questions you may have. From puppy days to golden years we are here to help you and your loved companions have a long and happy life.

Preventative care is an umbrella term for all the things you do to take care of your pets; good nutrition, appropriate exercise, and regular veterinary care. The idea is that by taking your pet for routine wellness exams, you can make informed choices that benefit their health. You’ll also find out about illnesses or issues early, which can be key in successful treatment.  

During annual wellness exams at Kelowna Veterinary Hospital,  your companion will receive a full bodied check-up by listening closely to the heart and lungs, and examining their eyes, mouth, ears, and much more. After the exam, our team may make recommendations specific to your pet to help keep them healthy. This may include bloodwork, supplements, medications or food options.
